I got quoted for the pair privately and when I said no they came back with a price for just the worse ear as a compromise. This pair cost less than that one-ear price even after the grant. Been wearing them since March and I haven't thought about the money once.

My husband had the telly on 38. I'm not exaggerating, I checked it. The people next door could hear the match. He's been wearing these since May and it's on about 14 now, which is where I have it when I'm on my own. He hasn't said anything about it and I haven't made a thing of it. He says he can't feel them in. The only thing is he has to remember to charge them or there's nothing in them the next morning, but he does it with the phone so it's been grand.
