I have never been able to tolerate anything in my ear. Earplugs, earphones, the lot. I gave it eleven days because I wanted it to work and by the end of it I was taking them out at lunchtime every day. That is me, not the product. The return was straightforward and the refund was in my account in under a week, which is why it is two stars and not one.

You're right that we don't stream calls. It's on the spec page but it clearly isn't hard enough to find, and that's on us. Certus One is an amplification device, not a headset.

Thanks for the straight review. Severe loss in both ears is outside what Certus One is built for — our fitting range goes up to moderate — so this was the right outcome rather than a fault. Worth saying plainly for anyone reading with a similar audiogram. HSE audiology can fit devices at this level of loss, and the PRSI Treatment Benefit goes towards a private fitting if you have the contributions.
