I've got arthritis in both hands and the reason I never got hearing aids is those tiny batteries. Mum had them and I remember her on the floor looking for one that had rolled off. These have none, they go in a little case and the case plugs in like a phone. In at night, ready in the morning. Haven't touched a battery since March. Took me about a week to get them in properly, I won't pretend day one was easy. Can do it without the mirror now.

Two flights, a lot of heat, a fortnight of getting in and out of a pool and a long drive at the end of it. No moisture problems, no soreness, and the case charged off a USB socket in the hire car when I forgot one night. What I actually noticed was at dinner. Twelve of us round a long table outside with a road behind us, and I was in the conversation for the whole meal instead of talking to whoever was nearest and smiling at everyone else. My wife pointed it out on the way back to the hotel. I had not consciously noticed I was doing better, which I think is the highest thing you can say about them.

You'd have to know my mother. Shes 84 and shes knocked back a walking stick, a grab rail, a shower chair and two previous sets of hearing aids. Shes worn these every day since Christmas. I dont fully understand why these ones were acceptable and Im not asking in case it gives her ideas. She says she cant feel them.
