Certus Hearing Reviews

How these reviews are collected and verified

The policy in full, so you can judge the reviews rather than take them on trust.

Policy last updated 31 July 2026. Review corpus last updated July 24, 2026.

Are Certus reviews verified?

Reviews are collected from customers after delivery and matched to their order before publication.

The full policy is below: where reviews come from, what is checked before one is published, and what is never done to them.

Where reviews come from

Two routes, both moderated the same way. Most reviews come from an email sent after an order has been delivered, asking how the device has worked out. The rest come from the write-a-review form, which asks for an order number so the same check can be run.

No review is solicited in exchange for anything. There is no payment, no free product, no discount code, no prize draw, and no follow-up asking anyone to change or remove a review they have already left.

What we check before publishing

  • That there is an order behind it. Order number and email are matched against our records. This is what the โ€œverified purchaseโ€ label means, and it is the only thing it means.
  • That it is about the product. Delivery complaints and support issues are answered, but they are not product reviews.
  • That it contains nobody's personal data. Full names of staff, addresses, phone numbers and order details are removed. Nothing else in the text is touched.
  • That it is not abusive or spam.

What we never do

  • Remove a review for being critical, or for a low rating.
  • Edit a review to soften it.
  • Write reviews, or ask anyone else to write them.
  • Exclude low ratings from the average.
  • Reorder the list so critical reviews are harder to find.

How the numbers are calculated

The headline score is a plain mean of every published review, rounded to one decimal place: 4.8 from 1,287 reviews. The distribution bars are raw counts. The percentages are those counts over the total, rounded to the nearest whole number, so they can sum to 99 or 101.

The same figures are what appear in this page's structured data. If a number in a search result ever disagrees with the number on the page, the page is right and the search result is stale.

Reviewer identity

Reviews are published with a first name and surname initial, the country the reviewer bought in, and the date. Email addresses are never published. A review written by a customer in one country is shown with that country on every version of this site: we do not re-attribute a review to a local name to make it look domestic.

Replies

Where a reviewer raised something we could answer, we reply underneath the review rather than editing it. 9 of the currently published reviews carry a reply.

Corrections

If you believe a review on this site is not genuine, email us with the review and what you think is wrong with it. If we cannot stand it up against an order, we take it down and say so.

Frequently asked questions

What does verified purchase mean on this site?
That the review has been matched to an order in our records: the same email address or order number, for a Certus One that was delivered. Reviews we cannot match are not published with that label.
Can anyone leave a Certus review?
Anyone who has bought one. Reviews are invited by email after delivery, and can also be submitted directly through the write-a-review form. Both routes go through the same moderation.
How is the overall rating calculated?
A plain mean of every published review, rounded to one decimal place. Currently 4.8 from 1,287 reviews. Nothing is weighted, and no review is excluded from the average because it is negative.
Does Certus remove negative reviews?
No. 48 of 1,287 published reviews rate the product 3 stars or below, and they are collected on a dedicated complaints page rather than buried.
