Month one was the adjustment. Everything sharp, my own voice odd, and one whistle that turned out to be the wrong size tip and took ten seconds to fix once somebody told me. Month two I stopped thinking about them. Months three to six there has been nothing to report at all, which is the point of writing this. No faults, no crackling, no drop in the battery, nothing needing replacing except a tip I lost down the side of a chair. I clean them once a week with the little brush. I charge the case every night on the shelf with my phone. That is the entire maintenance. If you are reading the one star reviews and worrying, I would say most of what I see in them is either the wrong tip size or somebody expecting these to do what a four thousand pound pair does in a loud restaurant.

I am going to write the review I wish had been here when I was deciding, so it is a long one. I am 69. I have known for about five years and did nothing about it, partly the money and partly not wanting to be the man with hearing aids. What finally moved me was my granddaughter asking her mother why grandad never answers her. I went to a private clinic first because I assumed that was the proper way to do it. Two appointments, a test that told me what I already knew, and then a quote with a payment plan attached. I said I would think about it. These arrived four days after I ordered them. The check on the phone takes ten minutes and you tap the screen when you hear a beep. The first two days everything was too loud and I thought I had wasted my money. By day five I had stopped noticing them. That was in March. Since then I have been back to the club, I ring my brother instead of texting him, and my wife has stopped saying it twice. They are not the clinic pair. I do not care.
